Vermont school children's health is a number one priority of the YMCA. Y leaders along with former Governor Jim Douglas and members from two statewide alliances will meet at the Integrated Arts Academy at 6 Archibald Street on Monday, October 14th from 10:30-11:30 to hear recommondations on improving nutrition and increasing physical education. You are cordially invited to join us. Please come with your ideas on how to make our kids healthier while at school. Why meet now? The Vermont State Board of Education is currently seeking public comment on changes to the Vermont Quality Education Standards, the rules that all schools must follow.
