Attention all households on Maple Street. Last year 4 families got together and planned a "maple street yard sale event". Being the first year and last minute planning we did not get more families involved. After seeing the successful turn out with advertising a 4 family street sale we would like to invite other maple street families to join in.
Do you or a friend of yours live on maple street?
Do you have items taking up space around the house that you would like to get rid of before cold weather sets in?
Do you have relatives who may join in with bringing items to your front lawn to take advantage of the heavy traffic our advertising provides for this event?
October 1st and 2nd is our 2nd annual MAPLE STREET SALE event. If you live on maple street and would like to set up a yard/garage sale at your home feel free to send me your address and some "big ticket items" you may be selling so I could add them to our advertisements on Craigslist and radio stations. I could also stop by to take pictures to put on our craigslist post as well. I was amazed last year at how far people traveled from when they heard we had specific items for sale. It is true what they say, "one person's junk is anothers treasure."
