The East Montpelier Calais Historical Societies will meet Monday Aug 15 at the East Montpelier Four Corner Schoolhouse at 7:00 PM. Our special guest speaker is from Holland. Gesus van Diggele, author and collector of over 5000 used playing cards will present several examples that have survived. These cards were blank on one side. The blank side includes ball invatations dating back to the 1800's from Montpelier, Montpelier Village Barre,and other Vermont towns. Public welcome
