Please join us for another presentation of Parenting with Strengths in Mind.

“The children now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise.” - Socrates, 345ish BC Some things never change!

• Have you ever wondered why children of the same family can be so alike and so different at the same time?
• Have you ever wondered why you are able to work with, laugh with, or just be around certain people and not others?
• Would you like to get a better understanding of what is happening in the developing brains of our children especially during the adolescent phase?
• How can we best help our children be resilient, confident, kind and on a path of success?

Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, Lexy, and veteran teacher turned Neurohandyman, Michael Thompson, will once again offer Strengths-Based Parenting in this open to the public workshop. By incorporating the science behind how our kids’ brains develop, Michael helps parents understand just what makes a teen act the way they do. Lexy then brings in an actionable tool parents and kids can begin communicating through effectively.

By combining your child’s basic biology with the skills and philosophy taught by Strengths-Based Parenting, you’ll have a potent tool to approach parenting in a new, refreshing, and effective way.

Come join us in the Camels Hump Middle School Library On August 25th at 630pm for some light refreshment a little education and great conversation.

Open to all. Donations will be accepted for the CHMS Strengthening Families Program.
