A summertime potluck on Tom and Nancy Ragle's lawn August 21, from 12-4, with a rain date the following Sunday, the 28th. Visit with writers from Brattleboro and the region. An open reading will start about 2 pm. Hear the 2016 WriteAction contest winners read their winning poems and prose pieces and, if you want to, share some of your own – 5-minute limit.

Bring a dish to share and a chair or blanket. WriteAction will supply soft drinks, plates, cups, utensils. The Ragle's are on Melendy Hill Road, a right turn just over the little bridge going south on Rt 5 in Guilford. Go 6/10 mile up Melendy Hill to the Ragles' farmhouse. You will be directed to park in the back field.
