(1) Approval of meeting minutes from August 2, 2016 meeting

(2) Administrative Matters
• Review and discuss proposed meeting timeline for completion of Zoning Bylaws and Regulation revisions
• Chair Sue Kavanagh to report on 8/8/16 meeting with Selectboard to review schedule and work
• Ad hoc committee reports, if any

(3) Zoning By-laws and Regulations Update – ongoing work: Review final draft of updated Article VII, Design and Performance Standards and draft of Article VIII, Flood Hazard Area; discuss final Article, Definitions, if possible

The Planning Commission is engaged in drafting proposed revisions to the Town’s Zoning By-Laws & Regulations that will bring this document into conformity with the Town Plan approved in November, 2012. Our deliberations on Article X (outlining zones, objectives, uses, and dimensional standards) were completed in January, 2016. We are now proceeding with review and deliberation of the remaining Articles in anticipation of future public hearings and final recommendations to the Selectboard. Adam Lougee, Executive Director of the Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC), continues to serve as the Planning Commission’s consultant in this process.

Public comments on tonight’s agenda will be called for at an appropriate juncture during the deliberations. We will hear public comments on other topics at the conclusion of our evening’s deliberations.
