Upgrade your fort and fire building skills this Saturday with Summer Naturalist Brenna at the Mill Trail Nature Cabin! The newly restored Mill Trail Nature Cabin owned by Stowe Land Trust will be open from 10am-2pm, but you don't want to miss the water resistant fort demo at 10:30am! You'll get to test out the shelter by pouring a bucket of water over the shelter- with our SLT Naturalist inside! Next, learn to start a fire without matches. Once we get a roaring blaze, you will get to toast your own tasty marshmallows!

Not into forts or fires? Explore the cabin's unique architecture and history, touch and feel some of nature's artifacts, make your own naturalist journal, and explore the naturalist library. Free, family friendly, and all ages welcome. The Mill Trail Nature Cabin is a quarter-mile walk down the Mill Trail, which is a half mile up Notchbrook Road off the Mountain Road.

Stowe Land Trust is a member based nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of scenic, recreational, and productive farm and forest lands for the benefit of the greater Stowe community. Learn more: stowelandtrust.org
