East Montpelier Recreation:
RECREATION FIELD CLEAN UP DATE 8/28...Volunteers NEEDED!
Date: Sunday 8/28/16
Time: 9:00 am

We will be holding a clean up and repair date this month and we could use your help and tools. We have been trying to put this effort together a few times now and have finally set a date.

Need help with the following type jobs:

Brush clearing
Wood stacking
Fence/post repairs
limb cutting
bleacher repair/replacing
bench making
etc...

Need hand tools and cordless power tools (unless someone brings a generator).
There will be brush and other waste to remove possibly so trucks would be helpful.

New Committee meeting: Park Committee (to be formed)
We will also be talking about the plans for the new park space, stage and new concession/recreation shed. Looking for a small committee of people to help move this project forward working with us on the board. These people will work together until the park project is finish, hopefully sometime in the next year. Help bring a stronger sense of community to East Montpelier!
