Cordwood Building Workshop

Past event
Aug 13, 9 AM to Aug 14, 2016

When: August 13 and 14 (two days)
Where: Waterbury Center, VT

We are looking for several students for the cordwood building workshop. Cordwood is a building method that allows people without building background to construct a new home for a fraction of a price of a conventional house, using locally harvested materials, often from the building site.

The workshop will be led by Rob Roy, an author of many great books about cordwood and the founder of the EarthWood building school in the Adirondacks.

We're asking for $100 contribution for the entire weekend of learning and practice. If paying $100 is a hardship no one will be turned away; however please talk to us in advance about it.
