Kingdom Farm and Food Days: Draft Horse Demo and More!

Kingdom Farm and Food Days is greatly expanded this year with 21 venues all over the Northeast Kingdom. Starting Friday, August 19, at Atkins Field on Granite Street in Hardwick with a Draft Horse Demonstration at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will happen along with a demonstration of blacksmithing by Courtney Mead and Lucian Avery, fiber arts by Princess Van Gulden, and barbecue by Back Road Barbecue! These traditional craft and work demonstrations will be accompanied by FireSteel fiddle and banjo music: Terese Churchill and Thomas Bishop of Orleans. Free admission. All to be followed by the Hardwick Farmers Market from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with more live music. Kingdom Farm and Food Days' core events at high Mowing Organic Seeds, Pete's Greens and Sterling College are happening this year along with events at many more venues - too numerous to list here.
