Having a great day is as easy as pie at Rokeby Museum’s annual Pie & Ice Cream Social – coming up on Sunday, August 14 from 1 to 4 pm. Head down to Ferrisburgh and relax in the shade with summer’s sweetest treat.
Rokeby's corps of pie-baking volunteers has been perfecting the art of pie making for more than 30 years. Peach, apple, berry pies of every kind – it’s a selection you’ve never seen before! Why not make it “a la mode,” with ice cream from Vermont’s own Wilcox Dairy? And you can justify helping yourself to a second slice because all proceeds support the Museum’s work.
The Museum's two exhibits - Free & Safe and Quaker Made - will both be on view for those who pay admission. And they will offer guided tours of the house every half hour from 1:00 to 3:00. Contact Rokeby at rokeby@comcast.net or by calling 877-3406 for more information.
