Night Sky Program for All Ages

Past event
Aug 10, 2016, 9 to 10 PM

Come and learn a bit about Reading the Night Sky this Wednesday, August 10th, from 9-10:00pm.

Crispin Butler will give a short talk about the night sky, and then we will watch for meteors, find stars constellations and planets, contemplate the moon and ponder the universe!! You may wish to bring a telescope or binoculars, though they are not needed. Also, a smart phone or star chart, a dim flashlight, a blanket or jacket or beach chair (for comfort!).

Location is the Turner residence at 662 Leland Road in West Salisbury. Rain date will be Thursday, August 11th. If the sky is not clear the eve of the event, call 352-4442 for status. Hope to see you there. Be on time in order to see the space station!
