Jorge Garcia Herranz has just announced his program for Thursday’s concert and milonga at the North Hero Community Hall (next to Hero’s Welcome) at 8pm with proceeds to benefit the Island Arts Youth Scholarship Fund. He will open with “Astor Piazzolla” in 6 parts and will conclude with classic tango music including “Mi Buenos Aires Querido,” “La Galleguita,” and “Hotel Victoria.” The concert will be followed by a milonga (tango dance) sponsored by Queen City Tango and their DJs. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 in advance at The Green Frog and Hackett’s Orchard in South Hero, the Back Chamber in North Hero, the Alburgh Public Library, the Country Store in Isle La Motte and at islandarts.org .
