Support Matt Dunne for Governor next Tuesday!
Dear neighbors,
Senator Matt Dunne is running for Governor to further Bernie Sanders' vision by making Vermont government more progressive and improving the lives of all Vermonters.
Among Matt Dunne's many strengths is the ability to listen to ordinary Vermonters, learn what they most need and want, and then figure out what the government can do to help them. Another of Matt's strengths is having innovative ideas and turning them into successful programs. His primary goal as Governor is to improve Vermont's economy. A healthy economy underpins everything else he intends to accomplish with the help of the Legislature and other Vermonters. His first economic priority is to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour for everyone!
Matt wants to take on are universal healthcare, help for the poor, incentives for our youth to complete college, slowing down climate change, equality for all, government transparency, curbing opium addiction by addressing it as a medical problem, and the responsible, regulated legalization of marijuana. On his website, Matt has laid out in detail how he intends to tackle these projects.
No other candidate for governor has so much relevant experience and so much drive to bring about the changes that Bernie advocates. That's why I'm voting for Senator Matt Dunne in the so-important primary coming up on Tuesday, August 9. That's why I'm hoping you will, too.
