Annual Philharmonic Pops Concert

Past event

Please join conductor Lou Kosma and the Vermont Philharmonic for its annual Pops Concert at Moose Meadow Lodge in Duxbury, August 14th at 4:00. This year’s performance will consist of Broadway medleys, old favorites and patriotic standards, and will include special guest artist Antonette Knoedl, a classically trained singer who has performed for regional theaters and dance companies throughout the North Country and Long Island.

The Meadow near the lodge is open for picnicking at 3:00 pm, and the concert starts at 4:00. Parking at Moose Meadow Lodge is limited, so carpooling is recommended. This annual event has become very popular over the years, so early arrival is also recommended in order to find your spot.

Tickets are available at the gate and are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students. In case of inclement weather the concert will be held at the Thatcher Brook Primary School in Waterbury. For more information, see the Philharmonic’s website at www.vermontphilharmonic.org
