This event kicks off the White River Resilience Festival commemorating the Vermont response to Hurricane Irene 5 years ago to the day. We will have a 5K Fun Run and Walk, and a 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk. This scenic, flat race course starts on the town green in the quaint village of South Royalton and runs out and back along the White River on paved and dirt roads. There is a water station at the halfway point and finish. Refreshments will be served at the finish.

The race registration fee of $10 per person ($12 day of) is priced to encourage participation by families, friends, individuals and teams. A team of 2 up to 6 friends or family gets a 25% discount. Early registration saves $2. Each referral saves $2. Each Facebook share saves $1.
