Another Special Friday Food Affair

Past event

In partnership with the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, the ReSOURCE LEAP Program will be serving the Richmond community a delicious meal at the Friday Food Affair! Learn, Earn, and Prosper (LEAP) provides personal and professional training to youth who are blind or visually impaired. This weekend, LEAP youth are attending a workshop at the Farm at VYCC focused on food budgeting, healthy eating and customer service. Please support our LEAPsters as they put their skills to work at the Friday Food Affair! These dinners feature farm-fresh ingredients from VYCC. Don't miss this! Dinner will be personally served by the LEAPsters (not buffet style).

Here's the menu:

- Chicken and Dumplings (vegetarian and gluten free options)
- Samosas (homemade!)
- Quick Pickled Cucumbers
- Slaw Salad
- Apple Cobbler for dessert

Bring family and friends... the more, the better! Downtown Richmond at the Congregational Church. Come in anytime during this 2-hour affair from 5-7 PM tomorow.

People ask us how much they should donate. We recommend $3 - $4 per person, more if you can afford it. We are experiencing increased costs, and more donations will help a great deal. That said, if money is tight for you, no need to donate anything!

Also.... Take advantage of the opportunity to "throw a party" (for your friends and the greater community) without having to deal with setup, cleanup or cost. Visit our web site at http://fridayfoodaffair.com for all the information you need about this event. Check out the videos as well.
