Christine Malcolm Band & the Vinegar Creek Constituency will be on the Tuesday Night Live stage at Legion Field, School Street, Johnson on August 9th.
Christine Malcolm is a singer, writer,and musician with a collection of songs about small towns, big hearts, broken dreams and the endurance of hope and love. Her music is a blend of modern folk, country, rock and blues.
Vinegar Creek Constituency is an eclectic, incendiary string band. They perform in the American folk tradition through imaginative, emotive original songs delivered with rock and roll intensity. The musicians are Leonard DiSanto (vocals, mandolin, guitar, floorboard percussion); Jeff Bryson (vocals, mandolin, guitar, floorboard & eyelash percussion); Mark Rast (banjo, dobro, vocals, special effects); Pierre deVitry ( fiddle, harmonica, vocals broken beer glass percussion); and Mike
Vitale (double bass). You may want your dancing shoes for this uplifting performance.

Tuesday Night Live is free, just bring a chair or blanket. There were 25 varieties of homemade pie last Tuesday as well as Alice’s German chocolate cake at the Historical Society Booth. Other vendors were Nepalese/Himalay Cuisine, Papa Gyro’s, Mediterranean Mix, Northern Fire & Slice Wood Fired Pizza, Kingdom Creamery, and Hot Tamale. Also Kettle Corn, Back Country BBQ, JJ’s VT Maple Cotton Candy, and Sustainable Smoothies. Good music, good food, good company
