Once again, this Thursday and every consecutive Thursday through August 18th, the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Waterbury Village.

This week, the “Birdshot Lafunk” jazz/funk band "will perform thanks to the sponsorship of the Jamieson Insurance and the Northfield Savings Bank. A huge thank you goes out to this week’s event sponsor. Come join the hundreds of family and friends that will be bringing their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supper or purchase your supper from a variety of vendors on site. As usual, the Rotary will be serving free ice cream while it lasts and during the performance, will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets the proceeds from which directly go to defraying the cost of the bands. Come early and shop from the numerous booths set up by the Waterbury Farmer's Market, 3:00 - 7:00 pm. See you there and pick up a full schedule of this year’s musical performances. On the following Thursday, August 11th, the “Shellhouse” will perform thanks to the sponsorship of the Waterbury Craft Beer Cellar.
