Local Artists on Exhibit at the Custer Sharp House Saturdays in August!

The Londonderry Arts and Historical Society is proud to present its annual "Local Artists on Exhibit". Come enjoy the watercolors, oils, prints and even cell phone art by our local artists: Rebecca Alberti, Diane Bell, Lynne Fear, Elizabeth Gouin, Doris Ingram, Valerie Johnson, Shirley Litwak, Mona McGreevy, Christine Mix, Paul Myers, Haegan O'Rourke, Kim Ray, Lisa Sicotte, Martha Stevenson, Victoria Thomas, Marijke Westberg, Danny Wolf, Lynne Wunderlich, and Helen Young. Local scenes, florals, still lifes and more fill the walls of the Custer Sharp House, 2461 Middletown Road, Londonderry.
Also on display in the barn is "Londonderry Waters". This exhibit features artifacts used for the Saturday Bath and Monday Wash days including tools for transporting water, old tubs, drying racks and more. Bathing and laundry were very hard work! "Londonderry Waters" also features old Lowell Lake photos by Evert Vaille and photos of the flood of 1973.
Exhibit hours are Saturdays in August, 10-1, at the Londonderry Arts and Historical Society's Custer Sharp House, 2461 Middletown Road.
