Canaan's annual Sugar Social or Sugar on Snow is a great family community event. The event will take place in Canaan's Fletcher Park Aug. 5th, 2016 at 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with Sugar being sold from 5:00-8:00. The event will include hot dogs, chili dogs, baked goods, artisan craft tables, kid friendly activities, food tables, music, Christmas ornaments and a climbing wall and most importantly Sugar on Snow (homemade Canaan maple syrup on snow from the winter with fresh donuts and a sour pickle). Come and enjoy this local community tradition and help support the community in Canaan.
