Anna Lindblad, a performing fiddler from Sweden who is presently touring in the States, will be here in Montpelier at the Summit School of Traditional Music, 46 Barre St., to teach a fiddle workshop.

"Anna Lindblad a versatile fiddler from the new generation folk musicians in Sweden. Her powerfull fiddle playing is steeped... in groove, joy and presence. With a heart beating for tradition she is not afraid to mix it up with new influences. Besides her Swedish fiddling she also plays Québecois and Irish traditional music, always with a smile and a contagiously positive attitude and spirit."

This is a rare opportunity to add to your Swedish/ Norwegian/ Scandi repertoire and be coached by a native Swedish player on technique.
