JFAM Music Mtn Jam Music Series continues this Wednesday with Rumblecat at the Jeffersonville Farmers and Artisan Market. Market opens at 4:30 and music starts around 5:30.
Around 2013, Rumblecat appeared mysteriously on the side of the road somewhere between Macon, Motown, and New York City. They hitched a ride to Burlington, VT, tried some beer and maple syrup, and decided to stay a while. Their music is a funky rock’n’roll gumbo seasoned with sweet harmonies, sizzling solos, and hearty grooves.
They’ve shared bills with such diverse acts as Fuel, Popa Chubby, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Rumblecat was awarded “Best in State: Vermont” at the 2016 New England Music Awards. Their debut album, ‘Til the Neighbors Shout, was released in April 2016.
“Impressive musical prowess and energy... a head-bobbing torrent of guitar fuzz and watery organ”
— Dan Bolles, Seven Days
We have a few new vendors this week, too: Breezy Acres Farm from Montgomery with farm raised meat, Pippa with Yoga and Adventures in Granola.
See you at the market and thanks for your support.
