Red Tail Ring in Concert at Huntington Public Library August 4

On Thursday, August 4th, Valley Stage Productions presents Kalamazoo-based roots duo Red Tail Ring at the Huntington Public Library (2156 Main Rd). The concert begins at 7:00 pm, and tickets are a $10. Laurel Premo and Michael Beauchamp, of Red Tail Ring, share a raw blend of original folk music and interpretations of old ballads and dance tunes from the southeast mountains.

Whether rendering a traditional tune or one of their original compositions, Red Tail Ring infuses each song with musical imagination, haunting harmonies, and instrumental artistry on fiddle, guitar, and banjo. Their presence is warm and authentic, and their concerts contain both heart-rending ballads and toe-tapping fiddle tunes. The band's last international work was this past January during which they toured and taught in Sweden. When they're off the road, Laurel and Michael enjoy playing for community square dances when in their hometown of Kalamazoo, MI.
