At Phantom! Episodic Theater by Keryn Nightingale.
Act 1 Recap:
Eileen and Stephanie flee Columbus, OH with a bun in the oven and a chicken under the hood of Nana's ancient Volvo. Evading a crop duster, confronting a state trooper and discovering a trove of camp memorabilia from several generations of eccentric Vermonters, the women explore the nature of love & life, finding sanctuary in each other and cell service half-way up a dusty mountain road.
Act 2 Recap:
Curious about their neighbors' apparent indifference, Eileen and Stephanie go door-to-door with baskets of special homemade goodies. In Starkfield, a town of under-employed musicians and over-worked mothers, where the fruit loops share the shelf with the nutty granola and the collective memory is even longer than the Fourth of July parade, perhaps good fences really do make good neighbors.
Examining the roots of their own friendship, our heroines reflect on the importance of bonds and boundaries, the roles of choice and fate and the relative value of truth and spandex in their lives.
Utterly Jump-in-able, don't be afraid to make Act 3 your first show! Moon Threads returns to the barn on August 9th.
