This is our second major benefit towards our $100,000 pledge for the Vermont Children's Hospital.
This year will be a special combination of the concert with an Art Show featuring the artists of the Milton Artists' Guild. Approximately 24 local artists will be set up, and 10% or more of their sales will go towards the charity. Each artist is also donating a piece of their artwork for a silent auction that we will be having during the event, as well. We have also had a number of other artisans/woodworkers and writers donate items for our auction. So, come prepared to be dazzled and ready to make a bid. Event Details:
Location: Behind and on the south side of The Paddle. Some artists will be under the larger tent and others are in the field behind with their own canopies.
Times: 3:00 - 7:00, with live music from 4:30 - 7:00pm
Cost: $10 per person suggested donation
Food: BBQ & Beverages for sale (Please, you may not bring your own; especially alcoholic beverages, which is against state law.)
Parking: The fire department has graciously agreed to move their trucks out and relocate for those few hours just down the street. Limited parking behind Granny's Attic; you are encourage to park in the Merchant's Bank lot or just down the street in the South Hero Pharmacy's lot. We will have traffic attendants on hand, just in case. Mark your calendars and spread the word!
