Four Shillings Short, a world music act that features over 20 different instruments from around the globe, will be performing at Landry Park the evening of Tuesday, Aug 2. The concert, sponsored by Winooski Recreation, is completely free and will start at 6:30PM.
The City's Community Services Department will be also be collecting public input that evening as part of the planning process for a new pool facility. We need to hear from YOU! The Myers Foundation will be serving free food to those who participate and there will also be face painting and lawn games as part of the evening's festivities.
Lawn games, facepainting, and other fun for kids and families will start at 4:30PM Tuesday afternoon. The cookout and pool-planning process will begin shortly thereafter, with the concert to follow at 6:30.
