What a great summer! Join us at Bent Northrop Memorial Library to celebrate, on Friday, August 5th!

We will have activities starting at 1:00pm. This includes a visit from RiseVT and the Big Blue Trunk!

The Big Blue Trunk will be providing active fun with cannonball shooters, big square pants, nets, and hampers to wear on our heads. RiseVT will be bringing their famous Smoothie Bikes. Come pedal your way to a delicious smoothie on a bike that powers a blender!

At 2:00, we will have an epic KIDS vs. ADULTS Water Fight! This will happen because we reached our summer goal. As a community, we made an Olympic paper chain that reaches from the school to the library! We added a link to the chain: 1.) Every time a book was checked out, 2.) Every time someone attended a library program, and 3.) Every time someone posted a picture to our Facebook page of them being active with the tag #getmoving.

During this water fight, the kids will have a chance to soak their new principal, their librarian, and other willing adults!! Water balloons will be provided, but bring your own water gun if you have one!
