The Vermont Youth Orchestra Association's Discovery String Camp for string players entering grades 1-5 has a few slots left. Camp is August 8th - 12th from 8:30am - 12pm at the Elley-Long Music Center at Fort Ethan Allen. This 1/2 day camp is a great introduction to playing in a chamber orchestra or for young string players looking to play music in a fun camp setting. Students participate in rehearsals and group coachings and the week culminates with a lunchtime concert for families and friends. Tuition is $175 for the week and financial aid is still available.
