Calling All Parents of Children Birth through 8 yrs old
Please come a group discussion regarding your child care needs and obstacles to receiving high quality child care and early education. Your participation is important and will help shape the development of a new child care program in Guilford.
We will meet at Guilford Central School, Monday, August 8th from 6-7pm
This event is sponsored by the Community Collaborative for Guilford (CC4G) whose mission is “to provide support for the creation and sustainability of a Community Center that will house and work with other non-profit programs to help meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of adults families, and children in our community.” We plan to carry out that mission by creating an Early Learning and Family Resource Center in Algiers. The Center will include
• high quality early care and education for children birth to 8yrs;
• new space for the Food Pantry and permanent office space and medical equipment storage for Guilford Cares, as well as space for supplies for the Emergency Shelter located at GCC;
• meeting space for Brattleboro Area Interfaith Youth Group and other local groups
• a space for social service support, connecting folks in need to resources and community volunteers
• potential office space for additional non-profit/collaborator
