The National Museum of the Morgan Horse on Main Street in Middlebury will offer a class to learn how to make switchel. Join Museum Director Amy Mincher on Saturday, August 27thth at 2pm as she teaches about the history of switchel, sometimes called “haymakers’ punch,” and how to make it. Participants will leave with a jar of switchel and a copy of the recipe. $5 fee to help cover the cost of the materials.
