Therapy Dogs of Vermont Clinic this Saturday!
July 30, 10am-12:30, South Burlington (location and directions to be provided upon registration)
This is a great way to learn what it takes to become a great therapy dog team AND practice the test and get some pointers and training!
• Experience the complete TDV test with your dog in the first hour of the clinic (with a blow-by-blow description of what we are looking for, what we fail for, why we do each part of the test).
• Receive advice and hands-on training related to therapy dog work and common issues identified in the group during the practice test portion.
• Learn how dogs communicate and how they understand the world, and use that knowledge to build a confident working dog.
$90 to attend with one dog; $65 to audit without a dog.
