If you’ve never been to a poetry slam, you don’t have to be a poetry lover to enjoy this event. With years of experience hosting poetry slams, our Slam Master’s energetic style brings out the best in poets, and in his audiences as well.

There are two competitive categories: original poems and “covers” of works published by other poets. There are no age limits on who can enter, and prizes will be awarded in both categories.

This event is sponsored by Northfield Savings Bank - there is no admission charge, but donations to support the Brookfield Old Town Hall and this annual series of community events are encouraged.
