Caroline (Cally) Clifton, a long time Berlin resident and recent Montpelier resident was diagnosed in 2009 with a blood disease, Polycythemia Vera. Recently, this progressed into a rare blood cancer Myelofibrosis, for which the only curative option is a stem cell transplant which she will undergo at the Dana- Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
Please consider getting involved to see if you may be a MATCH. Even if you are not a match for Cally, you may be a marrow transplant match for another of the currently 14,000 people in need.
