Helen Day Art Center invites the community to a Farewell Party for outgoing Executive Director, Nathan Suter Saturday, July 23rd at 7:00pm.

Join us for pizza and beverages on the lawn of Helen Day Art Center, Saturday, July 23rd after the opening and walkabout of Exposed. The Exposed. walkabout will begin at 4:00 and last until approximately 6:45. Join us at 7:00 for Nathan’s Farewell Party.

Nathan’s passion, dedication, and positive leadership will be celebrated at this open, free event. During his last 10 years as Executive Director at the Art Center, Nathan’s leadership established the Art Center into one of the premier exhibition venues for contemporary art in Vermont.
He initiated and built the Youth and Adult Education programs which served 439 youth and teens and over 100 adults in 2015 - including granting scholarships to 38 youth and teens.
He evolved the membership, Board, volunteers, and audience into a multi-generational community connected through a love of culture and creativity, ensuring that the Art Center and our programming are relevant to all residents and visitors and will be valued and supported for the next decade. He also co-founded both Stowe Gallery Alliance and the Stowe Arts and Culture Council, leading collaborative efforts within Stowe's cultural and mission-driven community.
