A very special benefit dinner for the Vermont Land Trust will be held on Saturday July 30 at Thornhill Farm, 198 Taylor Road, Greensboro. The farm is growing grain, elderberries, pigs. Chef Doug Paine and Hotel Vermont will serve food and beverages from conserved farms as Pete's Greens, Jasper Hill Farm, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Bonnieview Farm, Fable Farm and Ploughgate Creamery. Farm tours will begin at 4;30 pm, appetizers and cocktails will start at 5:30 pm, and dinner at 6 pm. Tickets are $140. Proceeds will support the Vermont Land Trust.
