Humane Society of Chittenden County presents its third annual Planet Cat: aCATemy Awards! How many photos and videos do you have of your funny feline? Now, enter for a chance to have your memes and videos play on the big screen at the Flynn Theater! Your kitty could be a STAR! HSCC is currently accepting original memes and videos in various CATegories: Cat Shaming, Compromising Positions, Gravity Sucks, Talking Cats, Unlikely Friendships, Other.
This event will feature Mary Cenci, Mistress of Ceremonies, and three cat-tastic judges, Eva Sollberger of Stuck in Vermont fame, Diane Sullivan, famous and funny cat woman, and Kevin Gallagher, the 2016 Moth award winner and long-time cat lover.
Memes and videos in each CATegory will be voted on by the judges with help from the audience during the festival on August 27th at 2PM at the Flynn Theater. Winning memes and videos will receive an aCATemy Award on stage and will be the envy of felines everywhere!
