Back Roads Readings is a series sponsored by The Old Stone House Museum in Brownington, which brings distinguished poets to the Northeast Kingdom every summer. The second reading is this Sunday with Edward Hirsch. Hirsch, a MacArthur Fellow, is the author of nine poetry collections, most recently Gabriel, an elegy for his son. His prose book, How to Read a Poem and Fall in Love with Poetry, was a national bestseller. Come to the Brownington Congregational Church on Sunday, stay after for refreshments and a book signing. Free. For more information: www.backroadsreadings.com.
