What: Green Drinks!

Green Drinks is a fun and informal social networking event for people who work and volunteer for environmental and social causes, and for those who are interested in getting involved! Beer from a featured brewery is offered at no cost to you through Skinny Pancake and Farrell Distributing, while supplies last!

This month’s Green Drinks event will seek to raise awareness around the Fracked Gas Pipeline under construction in Addison County and—especially—the RESISTANCE to that new fossil fuel infrastructure.

This Green Drinks event will feature Rising Tide Vermont. Rising Tide Vermont confronts the root causes of climate change and is committed to dismantling systems of oppression within society. The group recognizes that the impacts of climate chaos fall disproportionately on indigenous peoples, low-income communities, and communities of color—especially in the Global South—and supports the leadership of these frontline communities in the global struggle for climate justice.
