“Eat, Drink and Be Irie”
The Vermont JerkFest & Reggae Festival is a Caribbean style food festival held in Brattleboro. This family-friendly festival features Jamaican jerk hot foods and the smooth sounds of reggae, roots, and Caribbean music in the cool mountains of Vermont. All vendors are encouraged to source locally because Vermont JerkFest will highlight local and regional spicy specialty foods.
The festival includes chef demos and a Jerk Cook-off, coupled with a pre-festival Rum & Brew Tasting event on 8/5/2016, 7-10 pm at the River Garden in downtown Brattleboro. These events are also minimal waste events, aiming to leave the smallest possible impact on the environment. Advance tickets are $5 for children and $20 for adults.
