Vermont JerkFest Rum & Brew Tasting kicks off the much anticipated Vermont JerkFest weekend 8/5-6. 2016 in Brattleboro, Vermont. This Educational Sampling Event is held Friday, August 5, 2016, 7 pm - 10 pm (6PM for VIP), at the River Garden on 157 Main Street, downtown Brattleboro. The Vermont JerkFest & Reggae Festival is held the next day on Saturday, August 6, 11 am - 7 pm at the VABEC Fields, Brattleboro, VT.. The spicy weekend will start with local brews and spirits as well as artisan beverages, accompanied by delicious Caribbean food and live reggae music.
The Vermont JerkFest Rum & Brew Tasting is a prelude to the festival on the next day and offers tastings of local Caribbean fare and libations, including local craft beer, cider, and artisan beverages as well as local and international spirits, and cocktail demos. Specialty foods such as hot sauces, and other delectables will be for sale along with many items from craft vendors.
Live music will be accompanied by DJ Natty Kool, who will warm up the crowd for a hot weekend.
This is an age 21+ event.
Tickets for Rum & Brew Event are $50 and includes all the brew and spirits tastings, a meal ticket and jerk bites. A 2-Day Ticket for Rum & Brew Event (August 5th) and Saturday Food Festival (August 6th) is $65. A VIP 2-Day Ticket is $75.
