Got Good Stuff to Spare?
Donate it to the 13th Annual KidSafe Community Yard Sale Benefit
Skip the hard work of holding a yard sale -- donate your quality, unneeded items to KidSafe’s fundraiser instead. Proceeds support the effort to improve our community’s response to child abuse and neglect. The annual Community Yard Sale (http://kidsafevt.org/13th-annual-community-yard-sale-save-your-stuff-save-the-dates.html) accepts most, ‘gently used’ or new items - books, games, children's clothing, vintage and collectibles, dishware, holiday items, toys, kitchen and dining, tools, furniture, gardening items and much more.
Donations can be dropped off at the Champlain Valley Exposition, Rt 15, Essex Junction)[follow signs at the venue]:
Tuesday, August 9 from 4 to 7 PM
Wednesday and Thursday, August 10 and 11 - 8 AM to 7 PM
Friday, August 12 – from 8 to 10 AM
Donations are tax deductible and are accepted at KidSafe’s discretion. See the link for a complete list of what KidSafe can and cannot accept.
Then come find new treasures at the Sale (also at Champlain Valley Expo):
Saturday, August 13 from 8 am to 4 pm and Sunday, August 14 from 10 am to noon. 150 tables, including antiques, collectibles and fabulous finds! Every child receives a free book. $1 suggested donation at door, per adult.
We are also looking for volunteers to make this event successful. Come help with donations (and see what treasures we are receiving) or be part of the fun during Sale days! Volunteering is easy; online registration is at VolunteerSpot: http://vols.pt/KidSafeYardSale2016
