Southern Gateway Project / Open House at Shelburne Vineyard

Past event
Jul 26, 2016, 5 to 8 PM

Greetings,

The Town of Shelburne is working with Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) and consultants from DuBois & King to "reimagine" Shelburne’s Southern Gateway when it comes to pedestrians and cyclists. (For the purposes of this project the Southern Gateway is defined as the portion of Route 7 from the Marsett/Bostwick Road intersection to the intersection with Ridgefield Road.)

As an area of growing economic activity and rising use by pedestrians, it is imperative that access, mobility, and safety be considered while finding ways to accommodate all modes of transportation.

All are invited to learn more about the project at a meeting taking place at Shelburne Vineyard on July 26th. Between 5pm and 8pm, members of the project team will not only provide information about the work-to-date and future activities. They will also create a record of public concerns and can discuss ways suggested solutions might be incorporated into the project plans.

Who: Everyone
What: Discuss options to reimagine Shelburne’s Southern Gateway
When: Anytime between 5-8pm on July 26th, 2016 (mini introductions on the work to date will be held on the half hour)
Where: Shelburne Vineyards, 6308 Shelburne Road (just south of Bostwick)
Why: To create a more inclusive, accessible and SAFE road for all!
