Champlain College Appreciative Inquiry Workshop
"Seeing the Connections: The Emergent Synchronicity Principle in Appreciative Inquiry."
Wednesday, July 20, 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Champlain College’s S.D. Ireland Family Global Business and Technology Center, Classroom 114
Cost: FREE
In this highly interactive Mini-Appreciative Inquiry Summit Workshop, participants will engage in responding to generative questions, framed to provide the opportunity to more clearly understand "meaningful coincidences" (synchronicity) in their own lives. Participants will gain a better understanding of how synchronicity moments may occur either individually, in groups, or both. Also in this workshop, people will understand how AI and strength-based approaches can be naturally suited to create a heightened awareness about "unique connections and opportunities." Through this inquiry approach lies the potentiality of the "Synchronicity Principle" -- a new emergent principle within the Appreciative Inquiry framework.
This workshop is in partnership with the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry. Insights from the workshop will be included in qualitative research for a doctoral dissertation on the topic of Synchronicity. No prior experience or knowledge in Appreciative Inquiry or strength-based approaches are necessary.
Interested participants can contact Tom Myers, Associate Professor, International Business and Management, Champlain College, at myers@champlain.edu.
