Carillon Concert at Norwich This Saturday!

Past event
Jul 16, 2016, 1 to 2 PM

The Norwich University Summer Carillon Concert Series continues this Saturday at 1 pm on the Upper Parade Ground with a performance by perennial favorites Sergej Gratchev and Elena Sadina. This Russian-born husband and wife duo has been delighting Northfield audiences for the past ten summers with their lively and diverse talent. Please bring a lawn chair and relax in the shade to folk, classical, popular, and Broadway tunes, both old and new. Following the hour-long concert, the tower will remain open for a half hour. Guests are invited inside to meet the performers, see the bells, and view a demonstration on the instrument. The carillon is the largest musical instrument in the world, and only two exist in the state of Vermont. It is a great event for entertaining out-of-town guests. Hope to see you there!
