The Day of Play and Antique Tractor Show is coming on Saturday, August 6th!!
Mountain View Equipment, Middlebury's John Deere Dealer (just north of the village) will hold its 2nd annual Day of Play and Antique Tractor Show. This is a free even for kids, families and anyone who loves tractors! We'll have balloons, face painting, pedal tractor obstacle course, giant bubbles, remote control tractor race track, kids' battery powered gator test drives, a corn box filled with toys, arts and crafts, tractor/wagon rides through the field and so much more! All activities are free!
The event is also a fundraiser for the Charter House Coalition, a wonderful organization in Middlebury who provides community suppers as well as emergency and transitional housing to those who need it. Though all activities will be free, we'll be selling lunches from the grill, holding a bake sale, selling ice cream and event t-shirts with 100% of proceeds benefitting the Charter House--so put it on your calendar to come by and have a great time!!
And, let's not forget the Antique Tractor Show! We are looking for all makes and models of antiques tractors to come join our event! Bring your tractor by and join all the other tractor aficionados for a day of display. Last year, we had John Deere, Oliver, Allis-Chalmers, International, Case, Farmall, Ford, Simplicity and we are looking for even more!
