An exciting concert will be taking place this Thursday, July 14th at 7:00 PM at the Warren Church.

The evening features two musically talented thirteen year olds, Andreas Welch and Jacob Madden who will be presenting a variety of pieces for piano and voice. Admission to the concert is free, but donations would be appreciated. Andreas will donate his half of the money to the local food shelf. Jacob will use his half to help offset the expenses of his recent trip to New York to perform with the National Honor’s Choir at Carnegie Hall.

Andreas is from Brooklyn and has been playing the piano for nine years now. In addition to playing classical piano, he also creates his own compositions. Next school year he will be attending the Manhattan School of Music Pre-college Program, an all-Saturday music school. He is very happy to be playing in Vermont to raise funds for the local food shelf.

Jacob is from Philadelphia, recently relocated to Warren, VT. He loves music and enjoys singing, playing the piano and composing. Jacob has had the pleasure of performing with The Philadelphia Boys Choir, the Mad River Chorale and most recently with the Middle School National Honors Choir. He will be entering 8th grade at Harwood Union Middle School this fall.
