The 36th Annual Stars and Stripes Festival and Parade takes place this Saturday, July 16th from 10 am to 4 pm. The HUGE parade begins promptly at 10 am, get to town before the roads close at 9:30 am and stake out a good spot to watch. Then head over to Bandstand Park for a clown show, music by the Kingdom Kids, food, vendors, bouncy houses, a square dance demonstration and more! There is also an open swim at Power's Park from 1 to 4, check out the new Pump Track there.
On Sunday, July 17th, there will be a "Worship in the Park" service at 10 am, with music and prayers followed by a free BBQ. The offering will benefit the Lyndon Ecumenical Council Emergency Fund and Food Shelf.
