Overnight Projects is proud to present the exhibition MODES OF CONDUCTION, which invites Germany-based artists Vesko Gosel, Peter Miller, and Viktoria Strecker to create site-responsive, installation-based artworks in the abandoned Moran Plant on Burlington's waterfront. The Moran Plant will be open to the public to view the exhibition with a reception on Saturday, August 6th from 5-8:30 pm, followed by artist lectures at Burlington City Arts on Thursday, August 11th at 6pm, and closing reception and performance at Moran on Sunday, August 28th from 5-8pm.
ABOUT OVERNIGHT PROJECTS
Overnight Projects is a nomadic exhibition initiative whose mission is to contribute to the contemporary art scene in Vermont by inviting artists to develop works that respond to and revive non-traditional and vacant spaces. Founded in 2015 by Abbey Meaker and Sarah O Donnell, we work with artists to bring new perspectives to forgotten and overlooked places. Find out more at www.overnightprojects.com
SUPPORT MODES OF CONDUCTION
Please consider supporting this exhibition, the largest project we've organized since founding Overnight Projects, an artist-run, 100% volunteer-based organization. We are determined to pay the artists we work with, but we need your help. Please consider making a contribution to help offset the costs of this exhibition and support the creation of unique new artworks that engage directly with a historic beacon of Burlington's post-industrial waterfront. All donors will be recognized on our website and social media channels. Donors will receive a special invitation to a VIP preview and talk with the artists on August 6 from 4-5pm. Visit our exhibition page to make a donation: http://overnightprojects.com/modesofconduction/
