Jeff Salisbury Blues Band at Tuesday Night Live
July 12, 6 to 8:30 PM
Legion Field, School Street, Johnson
Drummer extraordinaire Jeff Salisbury is joined by harmonica ace Bob Butterfield, guitarist Stephen Thurston, and bass master Tom Buckley. The Jeff Salisbury Blues Band plays vintage blues and R & B. You will hear some tunes you may recall and be turned-on to some you have not heard. Tuesday Night Live is free, just bring a blanket or chair. Rain or shine, the show goes on. Only thunder and lightning stop the music.
Local organizations and vendors will be on-site. Vendors include Nepalese/Himalay Cuisine, Papa Gyro’s, Mediterranean Mix, Northern Fire & Slice Wood Fired Pizza, Kingdom Creamery, and Hot Tamale. Also Kettle Corn, Back Country BBQ, JJ’s VT Maple Cotton Candy, and Sustainable Smoothies. The Historical Society will offer slices of homemade pie as well as hotdogs and fresh-made salads. The Johnson Conservation Commission will be on hand with members Denise Krause and Ann Marie Bahr hosting the booth.
Tuesday Night Live is a highlight of summer in Johnson. Parking is along School Street, in the Elementary School Parking lot, and at the McClelland Building lot on College Hill. The schedule is available on the town’s webpage and the Tuesday Night Live Facebook page.
